The Department of Mechanical Engineering & Material Science announces the 7th MEMS Design Contest, “March Mayhem.”  All Duke undergraduate students are eligible. 

Students will be given a $350 budget to design and construct electromechanical, remote controlled machines to play robotic basketball.  The competition will be held on March 6, 2006. 

Monetary awards are: 1st prize-$500, 2nd prize-$200, and 3rd prize-$100.   There will also be $100 awards for the best design concept and best fabrication.
