Control System
Wired Controller: Each team will be supplied with the parts to build a five switch umbilical controller.
Electrical Connections: To simplify the electrical connections for the 2005 Fall Design Contest, two Cat 5 cables will be supplied to each contestant/team. One cable is black and the other is red. The colors of the cables correspond to the RC-45 jacks on the control box.
The device wiring is detailed in the tables below.

NOTE: Wires 5 and 6, 7 and 8 connect to the contestant’s batteries in parallel. Wires 5 and 6 to the positive terminal and wires 7 and 8 to the negative terminal.
